Tick Tock

There’s
nothing more
likely to
piss me off

Than the
metronomic
sound of a
clock

For the
counting
of time as
quantifiable

Mocks me
in a way
that is
undeniable

      1. Because i like your poetry, dear friend ! I wish you are doing great.

Ps : I’d like to ask you if it is ok with you to create a magazine with your poetry, so i can share you and flip your poetry to other magazines of mine, also. My apologies for asking you this question under this post of yours, but i can’t find a contact page. I understand you feel much more comfortable without having a contact page or anything else. This is totally understandable. Take care.

        1. Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, my friend!
I didn’t know much about flipping poetry / creating magazines so I’ve had a little look at some of your work and I have to say it looks great! 👍
I’ve now seen what you have created for other writers too and it looks / sounds amazing!
Please feel free to use a poem of mine to do with what you wish.
I’ll be intrigued to see the result!
Many thanks for thinking of me!
          😁🖤

  1. First of all, nice use of ‘metronomic’ in a sentence. Secondly, I like the implication that a person can hear it when they’re lonely or in a certain state of mind, that or else it’s quiet and it only exacerbates the previous two things. Good poem as always!
