If I regret anything now
It’s the arguments that we had
The silent treatment I gave you for days
The things I did to make you mad
Now you’re no longer here
I can’t put those wrong things right
And I have no choice but to live with that
For the rest of my fucking life
Xxx
Fucking love ❤️❤️

Reminds me of something I’ve heard before: people want to see what big things they’ll do in the future but if they had to tell themselves something in the past, it would be to change something small going forward. That sentiment aside, there’s always time for change; not in the past obviously but going forward.
Brilliant poem. Hope you’re having a good day.

Thank you my friend.
Today is a difficult one for a few reasons. But I’m doing ok.
What you’ve heard before feels very true to me. If we had our chances again then I think there’s so many things we’d do differently.
For me it’s as this (autobiographical) one suggests. It’s not necessarily the regrets – but more the having to live with them that hurts 😔🖤

Too true, it’s so easy to get caught up in things that don’t matter when you think you still have time
