(Un) Fit For Human Consumption

It was
exactly
one
year
ago
today

That I
entered
into
this
WordPress
fray

Thank
you to
everyone
for bringing
me such
happiness

Despite
all
of my
unrelenting
crappiness

  1. Your lyrical skill is powerful and very often also delightful. I feel like sending waves of light through the InterTubes to help alleviate some of the pain behind them, but I’m not sure it works that way. Typed words are all I can muster. I hope you have been expunging the things in need of expunging. Onward…

    1. Thank you so much my friend, you really are far too kind to me.

It’s words such as yours here that make getting through the darker days (and writing about them here) all worthwhile.

Your support with my blog has been invaluable.

      Onward indeed… 🖤

    1. Haha!! 😂

      I wouldn’t worry my friend.
Although there’s quite a few kind, supportive, and inspiring folks (such as yourself – thank you for that by the way) who follow me, it’s mainly just spammers and fake accounts that make up the numbers.

I just can’t be arsed deleting them.

As for bringing the crappiness you have no choice with that – I’d never be able to write anything else!!!

      😂😂🖤

      1. I follow and enjoy reading all sorts of excellent writers on WP (all different in their own styles and themes) but I have to say your posts are often refreshing for their brevity and the way you cut to the chase with a liberal dose of dark humour and sarcasm that ticks my boxes – kinda like how I shout random obscenities at the tele !!

      2. Really, there’s that many fake accounts around? I’ve had one comment which seemed highly suspicious (and it wasn’t written by you), but other people with more followers talk about seeing this frequently!

    2. Yes, followers count doesn’t seem to correlate at all with read-worthiness! Often an inverse relation…

    1. Haha!! What a great celebratory rhyme, thank you! 😂

Thank you so much for all of your kind words and for accepting me (and Mel) as part of your fantastic community here.

It really has meant a lot to me this last year or so 🖤

        1. Thought this would be an appropriate place to make this comment— but do you listen to death metal? I just started today, firstly just in an ironic way but immediately realised it fulfills a role I’ve been needing! Man it’s so comforting and you can never have too many positive role models 😁🖤. (My keyboard shortcut for black heart is *blk* lol).

(Un) Fit For Human Consumption would be a PERFECT name for a death metal band! Fuck yeaahhhh! 🤘🤘

            1. Well, I’m sensitive too and I usually listen to super-sensitive music, but death metal isn’t at all inconsistent with that! 😄 it’s extremely sensitive— to a specific, very strong type of emotion!! It just makes you want to do pressups and fuck OCD to hell!!! 🤘
