Seriously?
Wow.
What is your job again?

Yeah, sadly 😕
First day off work today in a week. Made the mistake of looking at social media and came across too many posts by people who are being asked to do nothing but sit on their arse just now – and yet they moan about having ‘nothing to do’.
It just pissed me off earlier as I was tired from a frantic week at work – hence the post.
Needless to say my job is deemed as essential – we don’t get the option to ‘close’ and piss about debating whether to go out or not today.
Anyway, I’ve had some sleep so feel better about it now. Just.
Hope you’re doing OK 🖤

I think you were doing some kind of social care, is that right? I actually wanted to know more about it, just out of interest. But maybe that’ll reduce your anonymity too much!
They should read my poem from the other day, about how much of a luxury that is! Social media and everybody on it sucks 😁. (Well, 99% of people on it).
I would have been very annoyed too, you’re totally entitled to be annoyed about that! :). You’re doing a great job and have my respect!! 💙

Before all of this started, I was actually thinking to myself—
There’re an awful lot of people out there without hobbies, and that’s in large part because of how much time is wasted on social media and things. And those will suffer unless they get hobbies!
I can’t imagine ever being bored, my problem is always the opposite— never enough time for what I want to do!

I agree. That feeling of chasing my tail is overwhelming at times 🖤

What do you mean by chasing your tail?

I just mean I feel it’s not uncommon for me to feel exhausted from general day to day life (like a dog chasing it’s own tail) so I don’t get time to to the things I’d really love to do 🖤

I’ve been avoiding my personal Facebook account lately but if I updated, I’d want to put those words up 😂 Thank you, as always, for saying what we all want to say!

I avoid Facebook like a passion. I work on both my blogs instead, although the one I was an art director on is a bit defunct
play with cat, watch some vids on Youtube, binge watch Cutthroat Kitchen, read books, magazines and comics, create, all while silently thanking this virus for keeping me away from my crap job. No cabin fever here. By the way…I got a good morning chuckle from this poem. Thanks 😀

Looks like I need to take a leaf from your book and avoid social media for some time 👍🖤
