Falling
Tumbling
Through the air
Wondering
What it’s like
Down there
People standing
With faces aghast
Yet I don’t care
As I breathe my last
"All my life's buried here, heap earth upon it"
Falling
Tumbling
Through the air
Wondering
What it’s like
Down there
People standing
With faces aghast
Yet I don’t care
As I breathe my last
Hmmm! Faintly similar to what I pictured in suicidal ideations. May as well be dramatic and fool-proof, right? 😆
Haha the title has really made me laugh very sardonically. That is really incongruous against the contents of the poem, lol. I love it.

Wow. I honestly did not see that last line coming. Now I’m wondering who shouted the title. It kind of changes how you look at the narrative if it’s the crowd or the narrator.
