Haha!! I have never heard anything like the seagull noise in Brighton. They are even bigger there. It sounded like I was in a rainforest full of howler monkeys at times. At that time though that sound was the sound of holidays, coming from the midlands lol.

They are ballsy assholes, seagulls. I once faced a gang of them in a parking lot. They were congregating and refused to move when my car approached. As soon as I got out and walked towards them they flew away.

Ours don’t seem to have that same fear on the whole… They will, and have been known, to attack.
I know a couple of folk who have had to get a tetanus shot after being daft enough to eat a sandwich in the open air … Like taking candy from a baby for our seagulls with human fingers caught in the crossfire!! π¬π€

To be fair, I don’t actually mind them on the whole. We mainly stay out of each others way.

Oh I’ve seen people attacked at beach by seagulls but I don’t live in a beach town, so maybe the ones I encountered are less brazen. For whatever bizarre reason in the Sumner seagulls congregate around my towns garbage dumpsters.
