    1. Yeah, ‘technology’ may be a little misleading perhaps…

      I didn’t realise that Google accounts are now deleted after after an extended period of inactivity. When said account is deleted so, it seems, are social media accounts where a Gmail address was used to register/log in.

      Therefore, a social media account was lost forever last week. Quite out of the blue. If I had memorialised it previously, then the deletion of the Google account would not have mattered and it would still exist.

      No way around it and no way to get either account back so I just have to live with it. Gutted to say the least. 🖤🖤🖤

        Surely Google can reestablish the account for you. I doubt they get rid of anything.

        I’m sorry, charmer. Loss sucks. And we are at the age where it is going to be happening more often now 😔💚

        1. Yeah, it’ll still exist somewhere in the ether, but out of my reach. Sadly, neither of the accounts are mine, so any chance of recovery is a definite no go.

          It sure does suck. Big time 😔🖤
