That was the difference

Between me and you

I was willing to forgive

But you just turned the screw

I considered everyone

While you only cared for yourself

That’s why I’ve got everyone

And you have nothing left

  1. Forgiveness is so underutilized anyway, almost like people see forgiving others as admitting their own faults. That’s not the case. The person in the poem who doesn’t forgive is just setting up barriers and saying they’re better than everyone else. Yeah, those actions have repercussions..

  4. Beautiful universal truths here – forgiveness is so important yet so easily overlooked as being ‘weak’ but it’s the strongest mental block we overcome in reaching out to people who’ve hurt us. ❤
