And who did win out
In the end?
Well it wasn’t you
Was it my friend
All that effort
To leave me crushed
And yet I walked
Before I was pushed
Match Point
Please,
ignore
me
more and
more
each day.
For you’ll
only
push me
further
away.
Please,
glower
at me
more and
more
each week.
For
I won’t
always
turn
the other
cheek.
Please,
isolate me
more and
more
as time
goes on.
For we’ll
see who is
victorious,
when all is
said and done.

I used to hate that. People would be distant to me, so I’d be distant in return. I don’t see a problem with that; it’s self-preservation. But then they would moan at me *because* I was being distant. F that.
The good thing about when I finally got married was vthat there was none of this mind games bs. I liked her, she liked me, we both knew that. End of.

End of indeed. It’s just the best thing when you find that with someone 👍🖤

I grew so that the mosdt valuable thing in a relationship was honesty. Say how you feel. Relationships are hard enough without adding ambiguity.

It worries me when you also use “my friend” in your poems to refer to people you generally don’t like 🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣 Don’t you worry! Any ‘my friend’ in a comment is genuine. Any reference to ‘my friend’ in a poem is almost exclusively dripping with sarcasm 😁🖤🖤
