I used to be

Quite kindly

Cheerful

And fresh of face

Then something happened

That kicked off a pattern

Of both misery

And disgrace

They say you don’t know

What you mean to people

Whom you may never see

Well all I can say

Is I hope and pray

That no one relies on me
