You sit and admire my beauty
As you gently applaud my grace
Yet my feet are bleeding
And I’m not eating
All for that smile on your face
"All my life's buried here, heap earth upon it"
You sit and admire my beauty
As you gently applaud my grace
Yet my feet are bleeding
And I’m not eating
All for that smile on your face
Powerful echoes of Black Swan here, Charmer! The hidden struggles that stage artists battle ❤

These 14 (and counting?) characters are beyond the caricatures usually ascribed to them. If they were all in the same room, I doubt they’d see beyond that.
That might be the harshest part of this series–knowing that the reader doesn’t either. Great writing as always 🖤

Sometimes I just want to wrap your words around me like a blanket and kiss you on the nose.
