I’ll
say
it was
my
fault

I’ll
take
all
the
blame

Just to
protect
you
and
yours

From
feeling
this
terrible
shame

But
don’t
think
it’ll
last

I
won’t
stay
quiet
forever

One day
I’ll
tell
the
truth

And
all
ties we
will
sever

  1. Why must truth sting like lies and sever all ties….why can’t it blossom as the knowledge you hold and help another continue to grow??
