  11. I like this, because it is a bit open-ended in that you’re not sure what the obscene thing exactly is, but there is a subtle hint, and by not saying for sure it allows the reader to create in their mind what they think it might be. That’s a very effective technique.

      Though many of my poems are quite direct I do like to throw one of these ‘you make up your own mind’ ones from time to time.
